GREAT JOY

We adopted our dog Millie last May. At the time we adopted her,
her name was Heather. Millie (aka. Heather) is a Retriever/German
Shepherd mix (about 3 years old now) who had been abused and left
in the desert with her nine puppies. She is still quite shy of
people, but continually getting better. She’s very sweet,
extremely well-behaved, and loves to play in snow and water. She
also loves to ride in the car now. It used to take us about 5
minutes to coax her into the car, but now even if I’m just getting
something out of the car but not going anywhere, she’ll jump in
and won’t leave until we go for a ride. I think this is because we
always take her in the car to play with friends’ dogs, or go to
PetSmart for toys and treats.
We’re so happy with our friend Millie, and love having her in our
lives. Giving her a better life where she can play, be happy, and
just be a funny, little dog gives us so much joy. I can’t imagine
being without her.
Sincerely,
Nancy and Dan Eaves
