ANIMAL ADVOCACY

UAAC successfully led the efforts to strengthen Utah's animal-cruelty laws and to create the Shelter Pet Sterilization Act, requiring all shelters in cities of more than 40,000 people to require shelter-adopted pets to be sterilized.  We also join forces with other organizations to advocate for specific animal-related issues, including fighting for responsible and progressive predator-management policies to help sustain rather than destroy Utah's wildlife.
