ABOUT VOLUNTEERING
Utah Animal Adoption Center (formerly Wasatch Humane) is delighted
you want to help us in our goal to reduce pet overpopulation and
animal suffering by volunteering to help save, care for, love and
find homes, or raise funds for our orphaned animals. Please
complete and return the
volunteer
application. Our volunteer coordinator will call you to
schedule a short interview, invite you to our next Volunteer
Orientation, and give you more information about UAAC, our goals,
and how you can help save lives. Once approved, you will be
matched and assigned to areas that meet your interest and
skills. UAAC is a proud recipient of PETsMART’s National
“Humane Award of Excellence” in 2001, in recognition of our work
to rescue, rehabilitate, and adopt about 1,500 animals yearly,
most rescued from area animal-control shelters when their stray
time expired. We do not euthanize healthy animals.
